Witch Trials Dot Density Map

The following map was made using ArcGIS Pro, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop for GGIS 473: Digital Cartography & Map Design at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

The map shows data about witch trial locations. The trials occurred between 1631 and 1760. During the trials, many women and some men were accused of witch craft. Fire and water were used to coerce confessions. Those found guilty were executed. Most trials occurred in Massachusetts.
